As time goes on I have been doing research on the Link Popularity Idea. The Facts are simple. You need to increase traffic to your site, and you need to make some money to keep it up and running.

To do this, you need to update your content on a regular basis. There are multiple ways to do this but the most effective WHITE HAT technique, in my opinion is creating Blogs, Articles, and Posts for Message Boards. The more popular the site is that you post your TEXT on generally means that you will get recognized earlier and the page that your had written will gain Page Rank.

Even if the site your getting a link from has no page rank it can really help to increase the popularity of your site. As long as the content that you are submitting is getting indexed by the search engines and you have a link attached you are building your link popularity. Obviously, the more links to your site the more popular it is becoming and the easier it is for the search engines to recognize your highly updated content.

So you have an Idea you wrote about something that kind of pertains to your website but now you want to submit it. Where do you do that? First of all, you would start at sites like this one Blogger.com or another high ranked site. You could post your article on article directory's like http://www.weathat.com Articles or start opening Forum sign ups and adding Great Content (Ahem.. I mean Spam).

These Three Techniques will really increase your web ranking by increasing you link popularity, and in turn drive in more visitors as they relate to the product you are selling or showing or whatever.
